Bio:

After a tough upbringing in England experiencing violence, separatism, and years of heartache, coupled with having to live his life in a wheelchair for 3 years it seemed that he was destined to teach a life of self empowerment once out of the wheelchair. Starting Shotokan Karate at the age of 14 and still continue’s to teach to this present day he questioned the existence and meaning of life.

He later experienced a spiritual awakening as an adult where he was completely embraced by love and light, his teaching method’s have changed drastically since that day. Through his courageous messages of love, music, and teaching, Carl is raising awareness and increasing the consciousness of our planet. His inspiration touches the lives of spiritual seekers globally. His latest album and upcoming book is titled “Diary of an Uneducated Man” and the lyrics reveal his intention for creating a sense of global unity as well as his enlightening and empowering messages of truth and love.

TRISTAN LEDINGHAM is a dynamic original artist based in Toronto, Canada. Tristan has recently teamed up with Toronto producer Jon Mychal on his full length debut album ‘Crash Into Me’. The duo blends familiar sounds of pop melodies with alternative electronic movements and rhythms to forge a transient sound-scape.

Tristan started playing piano when he was 7 years old - experimenting with a variety of instruments as he grew up. In the last year he has been featured on ‘La Musique Circle’ as well as the Haze FM with Deirdre Mallehe, showcased with Universal Records, Warner Bros and was a featured performer at major festivals such as Pride Toronto and Canada’s Wonderland.

Artist: Mena Hardy

Bio:

Mena Hardy is one of Canada's top up and coming rock singer-songwriters who professional career started at the age of 5 singing back up vocals for her father, classical composer Robert William Hardy.

Born in Montreal and raised in a small town on the Ontario-Quebec border, Mena's rock career started two years ago when she moved to Toronto after a successful few years back home as an acoustic solo artist.

>Since her arrival, she has successfully formed her back up band "The Shotgun Revolutionaries", recorded and released her debut EP, played all over Southern Ontario and has just released her debut single "I'm a Loser (at17) which broke out at 78 in it's first week on Canadian Rock Radio charts. She can be heard locally on Rock 95 in Barrie On and The Haze FM in Mississauga.

Artist: Jennifer Cortez

Bio:
Jennifer, inspired by her mother, began her own journey into music. She began singing at a young age, and began writing music lyrics at age 16. Jennifer is vocally trained in SLS (Speech Level Singing) with vocal instructor Falconer Abraham, who has taught artists such as Jully Black (6 time Juno nominee), Melanie Fiona, and Snow (Juno award winner) to name a few.

In 2008, her single “The Latin Anthem” (Himno Latino) ft. Arabesque had heads turning in both the Latin and urban scene within Toronto. The single was immediately added to the playlist rotations including stations such as New Flow 93.5 FM, and AM 1610 Radio Voces Latinas.

Aside from Jennifer’s gigs and performances, in 2009 Jennifer organized a support group called T.O. Entertainers Connected which was created with the purpose of providing helpful resources, networking sessions and workshops for all entertainers. Jennifer believes in the raw talent of Toronto but still believes it needs an extra nudge to grow further, it gives her great satisfication to be a part of that growth.

March 26, 2010 was a special day for Jennifer as she released her debut album, "Through the Rain". “Through the Rain”is a powerful, and inspiring compilation of Latin, R&B, and house music. "Through the Rain" depicts the ups and downs of Jennifer’s life, and her triumph over adversity.

 

Artist: Russ Wilson

Bio:

Musician, Song Writer, Producer, Actor, Teacher, Juno Award-Winning Wilson was born into a musical family. In the ‘90s he joined the world famous ‘Junkhouse’ and travelled the world with them moving on to win multiple Juno awards, and to earn Gold and Platinum status in Canada. Once he left Junkhouse and pursued his solo music career he collaborated with Billy Bob Thornton, Dan Lanios, Mark Howard and Tim Gibbions to record the movie sound track for the Academy award-winning movie ‘Sling Blade.’ Wilson won the best Soul R&B recording for ‘Sentimental Fool’ and his ‘Jimmy Boy’ was nominated for the record of the year. Wilson has had the opportunity to play with the best including Bob Dylan, Scorpions, Sarah McLaughlan, Blue Rodeo, Bare Naked Ladies, Our Lady Peace, Ben Harper and Teenage Head to name a few.

Artist: Streetlight Marathon

Streetlight Marathon
Bio:

Founded in 2011 by singer/songwriter, Andrew Ricchetti, this band is an illustration of struggle, passion, and awareness. After playing venues in Toronto, London, Montreal, Chicago and Los Angeles, Ricchetti returned home to Toronto to record the first self-titled EP at Canada’s most recognized recording studio, Metalworks Studios in Mississauga. The album has received a warm praise from critics and the indie music community.

Streetlight Marathon has since been joined by guitarists Tom Perry and Martin Kuwawi, as well bassist Jarrod Ross and Gord Smith on drums, and has played several of Canada's Top tier venues/shows and amassed over 5,000 fans in just 8 months. In 2012, the band was selected to participate in Canadian Music Festival 2012 where they became the only unsigned band in the festival to sell out advanced ticket sales.

The band continues to write new energetic and dramatic songs to capture the imagination of its current and new fans.

Bio:

Toronto based artist/musician James Clark confronts the ghosts of his past, twisting and turning them into witty, rootsy pop tunes. His song writing has been compared to that of Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and George Harrison. James’ music has charted on Canadian campus radio and with his band, The James Clark Institute has released 3 CDs with a fourth currently in pre-production. His song “Monstrous” was recently included in the soundtrack of the independent film, Cherries and Clover.”
